Amie & Aaron - Twins!

Comments: There was a lot of talk over Amie & Aaron as I recall. I asked a ton of questions on the newsgroups when I found out I accidentally had twins.Amie and Aaron were a total accident. I had a norn named Ayla, and I exported her one day when I was done playing. I imported her a few days later, and it didn't take long for her to lay an egg. This didn't concern me at the time because I heard her kisspopping with Sam. Her egg hatched, and out popped Amie! I named her, and as I was working on getting a grendel away from the kitchen, I named and exported Amie as quickly as possible. About ten minutes later, I had a knock at the door. I got up to see who it was, it was a salesman, wouldn't you know it? I had to let the dog in so that he could hear me tell him that 'I don't need any thank you!' It was the letting the dog in that made all the trouble. Needless to say I ended up with stomped computer keys, and had to restart the computer. I must say I would have been extremly angry with the dog had it not been forthose backups of my norns. I had learned to back up after loosing a few norns to the dreaded importing 'death' problem. The world hadn't saved since I had imported Ayla, so I had to import her again. As the grendel hadn't come around again, I decided that I would be safe to import Amie. When I imported Amie, I got her to the Enclyclopedia nornica easily, and started her learning. Shortly afterwards Ayla squatted and laid an egg. I set the egg in the incubator to hatch, and just as soon as the male norn (I named him Aaron) popped out of the incubator something went horribly wrong with Amie as suddenly she was looking a mess! (You can see this at lower right above.) I decided to name Aaron, and was just worrying over this when not a minute later the problem suddenly cleared up. However, upon the messiness clearing up I noticed that both Amie, and Aaron looked as if they were old! They weren't of course, but they for some reason were displaying that way. It was a bit later that I discovered that Ayla wasactually pregnant both times I had imported her (something that according to experts was supposed to be impossible to have happen in game at the time.), and that the eggs she'd laid were exactly the same egg. At any rate, I'm sure all of you who are interested in twins can download them and have loads of fun studying them.

Kara & Kiddington - Yet another set of Ayla's Twins

Comments: Kara & Kiddington are the second set of twins hatched from Ayla. I hatched them when I decided I wanted to do Twin Studies. They have been left to their own devices. Anything they have learned has been on their own.

Mary & Moses - Twins that have been experimented with

Comments: Mary & Moses are the third set of twins hatched from Ayla. I hatched them when I decided I wanted to do Twin Studies. They were taught from the Encyclopedia Nornica, and then led to the island to mate. When I found after a bit that they seemed not inclined to mate I treated Mary with Estrogen, and Moses with Testosterone. Shortly thereafter Mary became pregnant with their child Mac, who is seen below.

Mac - Child of Twins Mary & Moses

Name: Mac Gen: 4 Age: 2 mins Sex: Male Breed: Horse Comments: Mac is the child of Mary and Moses who were twins hatched from Ayla. Mac is two minutes old, and other than exporting him, and checking his genetics against that of his parents, nothing has been done with him. If you use the Genetics Kit to have a look at him in comparison to his parents you will see that unsurprisingly he is an exact genetic copy of his parents.

GooGoo & Sam - Mother and Father of Ayla.

Comments: GooGoo & Sam are first generation creatures that kiss-popped and became the parents of Ayla. Sam is also the mate of Ayla (his own daughter!) and therefore both father and grandfather to the sets of twins.

Ayla - The mother of the twins.

Name: Ayla Gen: 2 Age: 2 hrs 54 mins Sex: Female Breed: Horse Comments: Ayla is the Daughter of GooGoo & Sam, and apparently also the mate of Sam. Ayla is pregnant in this export. I posted the pregnant Ayla export for those of you who are interested in doing your own twin behavioral experiments. At this point that's all that's left to do. If you have been paying attention so far you'll have realized that any child of twins will be an exact copy of it's parents due to hard coded genetics of the Creatures game. At any rate, if you do it right, you can use this export of Ayla to create your own sets of twins to experiment with. If you do some twins experiments, I hope you email me to tell me the results.
