Amanora / Amanora's Creatures hat uns freundlicherweise angeboten, Ihre erweiterten Creatures Genome für Creatures 3 und Docking Station hier bei Creatures Unlimited zu hosten. :-) Was es damit auf sich hat, wird sie Euch im Anschluß selbst erklären. "Dieses Packet enthält eine abgewandelte Form der gängigen Standardgenome für Creatures 3 bzw. Docking Station. Jedes der enthaltenen Genome hat erweiterte Pigment und Pigment Bleed Gene, die dafür sorgen, daß der Norn eine bestimmte Färbung sein Leben lang behält.
Im Laufe des Projektes "Dream Norns" hat sich herausgestellt, daß dieses Farbgenom nicht ganz mit den Standardgenomen kompatibel ist. Deshalb habe ich zu vielen der erhältlichen Genome eine erweiterte Version erstellt. Das einzige, was verändert wurde, sind die Pigment und Pigment Bleed Gene; ein Bondi Norn wird sich also auch weiterhin wie ein typischer Bondi Norn der ersten Generation verhalten und auch so aussehen.
Die Genome haben die Standarddateinamen, man muß also lediglich die *.gen Dateien in den Ordner "Creatures3/Genetics" oder "Docking Station/Genetics" kopieren. Vorher sollte man sich eine Sicherheitskopie von allen *.gen Dateien machen, denn die Dateien aus dem Update überschreiben die alten, so daß die Eierlegmachiene und Muco ab sofort nur noch Norns mit erweiterten Farbgenen ausbrüten.
Dieses Update stellt sicher, daß es zu spürbar weniger gelähmten Nachkommen kommt, wenn man Dream, Estrella, Lollipop, Nenya und Bubblenorns, sowie farbeditierte Norns aus meinen Archiven (C3 Bunte Wesen) mit Standardnorns kreuzt." Amanora

"This package includes a modified version of most standardgenomes available for Creatures 3 and Docking Station. Every genome has a large amount of pigment and pigment bleed genes so that the norn can have one coloration for a whole lifetime. During the Dream Norn project we discovered, that this colorgenome ist not entirely compatible to the standardgenomes. Because of this, I've created an advanced version for the most popular standardgenomes. I've only modified the pigment and pigment bleed genes so a Bondi Norn will still behave and look like a typical first generation Bondi Norn. For genomes included in this package see list above.
The genomes are named like the standardfiles so you only have to copy the *.gen files in the "Creatures3/Genetics" or "Docking Station/Genetics" Folder. You should make a backup of the original gen files, because the new genomes will overwrite the old ones so that the Egglayer or Muco will produce only eggs with the advanced colorgenome.
This update ensures that you no longer have lamed offspring if you crossbreed standardnorns with Dream, Estrella, Lollipop, Nenya, Bubble or any other Norn located in my archives of colored Norns." Amanora
