Nesting Birds (bluebirds)[]
When injected two families of Bluebirds will appear. These will fly around randomly until some grass is grown. At this event they will go and take some grass and build a nest together. At night they will sleep in the nest. After one winter they will be ready to mate, in spring they will come together and do a mating dance. Then in summer they will be able to lay eggs. The eggs will eventually hatch and baby Bluebirds will fly around. Baby Bluebirds are the same as Adult Bluebirds except they are smaller and cannot mate. Babies should share the nest with their parents. After about a year the babies will mature and start their own nests and mate with other birds. ************************************************************************************************************** Bluebirds are quite tame but not known for their high intelligence, sometimes they may get lost in a cave or underground somewhere, if this happens you are quite free to help them out by moving them back to the surface. Remember, they can't mate with their partner if they can't see them now and again. ************************************************************************************************************** Injecting again will focus on the grass launcher and add 2 more families IF there are less than 18 already in the world.

Nutrient Plant 1 - Fungolia[]
The nutrient plant launcher when activated will spray the local area with germinating mist, this will create one plant IF the inorganic nutrient (intr) content of the room is below 245. The plant will then grow and add 10 to the intr value of the room. The plant can be clicked on and if this is done it will shrivel and die and remove the 10 intr it added IF the intr value of the room is above 10. If it is clicked on and the intr value of the room is not adequate, the plant will not die. If injected again the camera will focus on the launcher.

Nutrient Plant 2 - suckralia[]
The nutrient plant launcher when activated fire two seeds from its launch cannons. The seed(s) will grow into a plant IF the inorganic nutrient (intr) content of the room is above 10. The plant will then take 10 from the intr value of the room. The plant can be clicked on and if this is done it will shrivel and die and replace the 10 intr it took IF the intr value of the room is below 245. If it is clicked on and the intr value of the room is not adequate, the plant will not die. If injected again the camera will focus on the launcher.

Plant Killer[]
When injected you will see the spray bottle appear near the incubator, you can inject as many bottles as you like. Operation of the bottle is straightforward - just select the type of plant by clicking on the image and then hit the red button to operate the spray. The spray will go in the direction of the wind and selectively kill the desired plant. The contents of the bottle only operate on 4 of the main plants in Albia, the Spinnomosa and Spikeocausius cacti, the Pear plant and the Triffid plant.

Evolving Pigeons[]
When injected you will see the mystical Pigeon Launcher appear in your world. The pigeon launcher ejects pigeons and seeds. On the launcher is a display showing the number of seeds that should be in the world at a time. This number may be set from 0 to 10. When activated for the first time, 10 pigeons will be ejected from the launcher. Each pigeon will fly at a specific speed between 1(slowest) and 10(fastest). Each pigeon also has an energy level which starts at 10000. Its energy level is represented visually by the fatness of the pigeon. Pigeons gain energy from eating seeds, but lose energy from flying around where the loss rate is related to the speed.
Natural Selection:
When a pigeon dies, a new one will be ejected from the launcher. This new one is most likely to fly at the same speed as the oldest living pigeon. However there is a chance that it will choose a new speed to fly at. Natural selection will occur over a short period of time and pigeons with the most energy efficient speed will survive for the longest.
The Pigeon Monitor:
This tool can be used to monitor three important properties of the pigeons - their age, energy and speed. The graph displays the total age, total energy and total speed for all the alive pigeons. If enough data is collected it is possible to see the effect of ejecting different amounts of seeds. Their speeds will either tend to a certain value, which may be high or low, or it will cycle.
Why would a speed cycle occur?
As more of the faster pigeons survive, it becomes less beneficial to fly fast and the slower pigeons start to survive longer. Then, because all the pigeons are now slow, a small speed increase does help. Eventually all the pigeons are flying fast again and the cycle starts over again. In other words, the pigeons adapt to their environment where the pigeons themselves are a part of that environment.

Welcome to the second part of the Life Kit #2 for Creatures 2, a collection of new agents and a whole new species of Norn.

[Hummingbirds](#hummingbirds)

[Wasps](#wasps)

[Scorpion](#scorpion)

[Frog Norns](#frogs)

Anteater[]
When injected the Anteater will roam around looking for ants. He does not always eat them as he can get full, but if he gets hungry and can't find any ants he will burrow into the ground and surface near an ants nest if there is one. He is less active at night and spends longer underground. If injected again the camera will focus on the position of him (although he may be buried at the time, so don't worry if you can't see him).

Hummingbirds and flowers[]
The hummingbirds lead a very simple life, and the introduction of the new tree flower provides them with all the nutrients and nesting materials they need. By day they will feed constantly to counter the energy they burn by flapping so fast, and at night time they will return to their nest and enter a state of hibernation. Hummingbirds are skitty creatures and the presence of norns near their nests will disturb them.

Wasps Nest[]
Two wasps nests are injected into the world. A nest may be activated either by you or by a creature, but the wasps will only come out if there is a creature near the nest. They will try to sting any nearby creatures as many times as possible before returning to their nest.

Scorpion[]
The scorpion lives in the desert. It scuttles about minding its own business, but if a creature tries to push or pull it, it will sting the creature with its tail. Any number of scorpions may be injected into the game.

Frog Norns[]
When injected some frog spawn will appear in the underground lake. The spawn will eventually hatch into tadpoles, who in turn will turn into froglets and then finally adult frogs. The frogs can't survive away from their pond for long, but they do enjoy jumping onto the peer for a sing and then jumping back in again. Some people have fairy stories about kissing an adult frog and then finding a strangely attractive member of the opposite sex in it's place, one who can breathe underwater but is doomed to never stray far from the pond. But you can't believe fairy stories ... or can you?

Ejects pigeons and seeds.

SeedCritter

Anteater

Walks around sometimes eating ants. Can bury into the ground and will appear near an Ants nest.

Critter

Frogs

The frogspawn will hatch into tadpoles, which will grow first into froglets and then adult frogs. They must not stray too far from their home pond or they will perish.

Critter

Wasps Nests

Albian wasps are very protective over thier nests. If disturbed then expect the worst.

Pest

Scorpion

He scuttles about the desert and has a vicious bite.

Critter

Hummingbirds

Hummingbirds spend the day collecting nectar from flowers and at night they return to their nests. The presence of a norn near to their nests causes them to become agitated.
