Description
A simple collection of various food sources for Chione.
- Ice Morel Mushrooms (Fruit)
- Ice Carrots (Food and Detritus)
- Ice Nuts (Big Seed and Detritus)
All three produce small edible seeds and will cool your creatures in various ways. One will remove hotness, the other two will add coldness. They do this in only tiny amounts, so the effect may not even be noticeable unless the creature gorges themselves on the fruit, food or seeds. The small seeds and detritus do not produce this effect, only the main food sources do.
The vendors will produce a mother plant that can be placed in pretty much anywhere, including rooms where plants normally do not grow. The mother plant will seed a patch or grove of food/fruit/seeds for creatures to eat. The food/fruit/seeds will only grow close to the mother plant, so they will never spread and take over the metaroom, nor will they die out because the mother plant will reseed them as they are eaten.
If you Shift+Ctrl+click on the mother plant, it removes the mother plant, but not the normal fruit/food/seeds. This was added to help remove any plants that had been placed in the wrong spot.
