Installation 
  (deutsche Installationsanleitung weiter unten)  
   
 Before proceeding please make sure you have the following files that are necessary to run Darwinia: 
 backgr.zip 
 darwinia.zip 
 images1.zip 
 images2.zip 
 images3.zip 
 sounds.zip 
  
 Please unzip backgr.zip  and images1-3.zip to your Creatures/Images directory. Please unzip sounds.zip to your Creatures/Sounds directory. darwinia.zip contains the world file which goes in your Creatures directory. If you have the doctor cheat enabled, you can open the world di r ectly from the world menu. If you don't have the cheats, please rename your world.sfc to something else (i.e. world.old) and rename darwinia.sfc world.sfc. Then start Creatures and you should see your new world. If you don't like what you see, just name w orld.old back to world.sfc and restart Creatures. You will see your former world, and all your norns and grendels will be there (if you didn't export them before installing Darwinia). 
  
 Troubleshooting: 
  
 If you have problems running Darwinia, this is probably due to the fact that you still haven't upgraded your Creatures program to at least version 1.02. You can download the upgrade patches for free at Cyberlife's website at      http://www.creatures.co.uk . 
  
 Distribution policy: 
  
 Darwinia is freeware. You may distribute it on your own website without asking for permission, there are just a few things I ask for: please make sure that you have all the files that are necessary to run it. The text files must be included wit h the world file. You are not allowed to include it in any commercial collection, on the web or on CD-ROM or whatever without my explicit written permission. You do not need to link back to my site, but a link  is always nice. Please don't call it your own work. 
  
  
  Installationsanleitung deutsch 
   
 Bevor Ihr Darwinia installiert, überzeugt Euch bitte davon, daß Ihr alle nötigen Archive heruntergeladen habt: 
 backgr.zip 
 darwinia.zip 
 images1.zip 
 images2.zip 
 images3.zip 
 sounds.zip 
  
 Die Dateien backgr.zip sowie images1-3.zip müssen in Euer Creatures/Images-Verzeichnis entpackt werden. Die Datei sounds.zip muß  ins Creatures/Sounds-Verzeichnis und die in darwinia.zip enthaltene sfc-Datei ins Creatures-Verzeichnis entpackt werden. Falls Ihr den Doctor-Cheat aktiviert habt, könnt Ihr die Welt direkt über das Weltmenü ö ffnen, falls Ihr keinen Cheat aktiviert habt, dann müßt Ihr Eure world.sfc in etwas anderes umbenennen (z.B. world.alt) und darwinia.sfc in world.sfc. Beim nächsten Start von Creatures wird nun Da rwinia geladen. Falls sie Euch nicht gefallen sollte, braucht Ihr einfach nur world.alt in world.sfc zurückzubenennen, und alles wird so sein wie vorher, alle Eure Norns und Grendel werden dasein, falls Ihr sie nicht zuvor exportiert hattet. 
  
 Fehlersuche: 
  
 Falls Ihr Probleme habt mit Darwinia, dann liegt das wahrscheinlich daran, daß Ihr noch immer Version 1.0 von Creatures habt. Ihr solltet mindestens auf Version 1.02 aufrüsten, das Update könnt Ihr Euch kostenlos bei Cyberlife (     http://www.creatures.co.uk ) herunterladen.

 Darwinia ist Freeware. D.h. Ihr könnt diese Welt auf Eurer eigenen Webseite zum Download anbieten, ohne mich vorher um Erlaubnis zu fragen. Ich bitte lediglich um Beachtung von ein paar Kleinigkeiten: Bitte achtet darauf, daß Ihr alle nö tigen Dateien bereitstellt. Die Textdateien müssen im selben Archiv wie die Welt selbst enthalten sein. Darwinia darf ohne meine schriftliche Erlaubnis nicht in einer kommerziellen Sammlung verteilt werden, weder im Web noch auf CD-ROM noch  auf sonstigem Wege. Ein Link zu meiner Website ist nicht nötig, obwohl ich mich natürlich darüber freuen würde. Bitte respektiert das Autorenrecht und behauptet nicht, daß Darwinia Eure eigene Kreation ist.
