FRIENDLY BANSHEE GRENDELS of Grendel Man

Peaceful grendels are nothing new. Besides a ton of my own breeds that are peaceful on top of other features, there are grendels who have friendliness as their defining trait (for example: Alien's Frendels). Given how pretty the banshee grendels are, there's naturally been a few peaceful variants.

The problem with these other variants, however, are that they tend not to be "actual" banshee grendels. Astro's Peace Banshees were based on the Hardman genome (on top of being an extinct breed), and Alien's Banshee Frendels are actually based on her Frendels (that is, they're based on the Jungle Grendel genome as opposed to the Banshee genome).

A long time ago, back when the Gameware forums were still up, I remedied the lack of friendly banshees that were actually banshee-based with my own Banshee Frendels. They were pretty nice back then, but they still had some residual anger issues that I didn't fix - plus, in this day and age, they're pretty outdated. To help ease myself back into development for Creatures, and for the people who want smart friendly banshees without a bunch of other traits to contend with, I decided to update my banshee frendels, resulting in this breed.

The defining trait of these friendly banshee grendels is, of course, their overall peacefulness. They don't get angry anywhere near as frequently as the standard banshees do, and therefore won't attack your norns (well, they aren't any more aggressive than a standard norn is, at any rate) and won't spend hours upon hours stamping their feet and letting the world know how angry they are. They enjoy being in the norn home and feel at home there, as well as feeling just as comfortable among norns as they would being among other grendels.

In addition, they feel a little pain whenever they hit another creature. It's not an insane burst (they won't frown and flinch if they so much as tap another creature), but it's enough to get them to stop after a few hits.

Not much different from my earlier Banshee Frendels, really - in fact, the most profound differences between the two are the features that I include in all my recent work (CFE Edits, Gizmo Balanced Biochemistry, etc.). That said, if you want pretty round-scaled golden grendels for your mixed-species world, then these guys might be for you.

They use the sprites of the Banshee Grendel (Grendel B), obviously.

Installation: Put the .agents file into your "Creatures 3/My Agents" folder or "Docking Station/My Agents" folder, and you should be able to hatch Friendly Banshee Grendels with the Norn Egg Layer or Muco.

I would prefer it if you did not host this breed on your own site unless the Realm goes down and you cannot contact me.
